Hi, I'm Cassie.
Before I got into tech sales, I thought you had to understand how to build technology. I also thought you had to be super persuasive and almost a little scammy.
I had studied communications and theatre and worked in political communications. Then I started researching what a business development representative actually did. I realized that cold calling reporters, writing emails, and getting people interested in interviewing my candidate had given me relevant experience.
I went on to become an enterprise BDR at Reachdesk, and now I work in partnerships. Along the way, I've been figuring out how to work remotely, travel, and build a life that feels like mine.
